Welcome to our Travel Diary

I created this site with two thoughts in mind. The first was to showcase my book, "Our Retirement Journey - A Travelogue", that I published in December of 2009 for some family and friends. You can purchase the book at Lulu.com. The second was to share many of the road trips and places we have visited since our move to Las Vegas in 2003.  In the Index below, the road trips have been categorized by state and titled with a description that includes the nearest town and state.  Each of these postings are comprised of multable page PDF collages containing pictures and information of the place or event, and sometimes are followed by a slide-show with additional pictures.  My book can be viewed by clicking on the category titled, "A Travelogue." Besides providing PDF files of the books sections and chapters, additional pictures, slide-shows, etc. are listed according to a corresponding chapter and page. Attractions and events can be found under the category heading, "Attractions & Events." I hope visitors to this site enjoy "rummaging" through the site and sharing with us some of the places and events that are unique to Nevada and the surrounding states and our local area.               Come ride with us!
